Results of Treatment of Patients with Ureterolithiasis by Extracorporal Shock Wave Lithotripsy on Siemens Modularis Uro

Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) has been used in the treatment of urolithiasis since 1980s. The method proven to be effective and minimally invasive, but last years effectiveness decreased significantly from 90 % 60 %. Studying causes this phenomenon methods improving outcomes are important problems modern invasive urology.
 objective: evaluate application ESWL on Siemens Modularis Uro patients with ureterolithiasis.
 Materials methods. was performed 662 ureteral stones ranging size 5 mm 19 Uro.
 Results. In 95.01 cases, urinary tract free by ESWL, removal 1 session occurred 376 (56.8 %) patients, repeated – 253 (43.2 patients. 33 (4.99 result unsatisfactory, fragmentation or elimination stone fragments did not occur for these ureteroscopy (ureterolithotripsy) as second stage treatment. During endoscopic intervention 78.8 satisfactory (fragments were smaller than 4 mm), due changes wall ureter area its primary location. overall rate after sessions trial 98.94 Conducting proposed parameters affect (p>0.1), allowed increase life medical equipment. No complications directly related detected.
 Conclusion. obtained results make possible consider a priority up 15 mm, taking into account risk factors inefficiency.
